The washing machine is without doubt the most popular of appliances found within not only the domestic household but also within the commercial sector and once this appliance fails through one fault or another panic is usually not far behind.

Without this appliance functioning correctly it would seem the world has become a place not to be in. Many a desperate customer has made contact and pleaded for as prompt a service as possible. Faults found can vary from the common leak through to technical issues of the programme not finishing.

The modern day washing machine varies in design from a simple 'bog-standard' easy to use appliance all the way over to a 'high-flying' complicated piece of kit. Nevertheless either of the types of modern appliances should still be viable for repair and servicing within its life. So providing a decent make of appliance is purchased the customer should get a fair return from it providing repairs and service are upheld.

As time has progressed the design of the washing machine programmes has advanced. The detergent and water companies have approached the appliance and clothing manufacturers and attempted between them to standardise the more common programmes available as best possible. Variations of these standard programmes can be found amongst all makes of washing machines hence giving the customer a choice
